Welcome, parents.

We are a school for kids, where students have tremendous influence over the trajectories of their own academic learning.

Kids do the climbing

If a child wants to explore carbon bonding as part of an inquiry unit on energy forms and transfers, they may do so. Teachers provide the scaffolding of basic information and skills; kids do the climbing, and pack in the content — with guidance, of course.

Mind and body

Our students are given tools for emotional self-regulation through mindfulness activities, and for physical and social self-control through daily PE classes. Kids find GATE exciting and challenging, because exploring their own questions and creating their own research, writing and art is inherently self-motivating.

We know that parents are happy when their kids are thriving. We help gifted kids thrive!
